About the Summer Missions

https://apothekemanner.de/viagra/

Each year since the Summer of 2000 The Good Samaritans travel to remote villages in Vietnam to provide needed healthcare for the poorest of the poor. Generally, in a two week period the team will exam and treat over 4,000 patients, providing services such as medical, surgical, dental and optometric services. They are complemented by a full service labs, EKG, ultrasound.

There are 2 teams. The Primary Care Team consists of physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and student volunteers. The student volunteers are not required to have medical experiences but will be trained to assist the healthcare providers to ensure the clinics run smoothly and efficiently. The Primary Care team will treat all patients within their scope of practice and those patients required specialized care will be referred to the Surgical Team that will come the following week.

The Surgical Team consists of surgical specialists and operating room nurses. This team brings with them their own supplies and equipment. They work in conjunction with local surgeons out of Provincial Hospitals to care for these patients at the same time share their skills with the local physicians.

The team goes even further for those patients that can't be cared for while the team is there for the 2 weeks. Typically these patients are young children suffering from life-threatening illnesses such as Congenital Heart Defects. These children are sponsored by the team, all expenses paid, to have their surgeries done by specialized heart centers in Hanoi, Hue or Saigon.

Come, join our team and help change a life!
